So, it has happened. I have had a baby! He is now four weeks old and I still can't quite believe it. At times I feel very old and think about all the responsibility I now have and sometimes I feel like I am sixteen again and I think how the heck am I going to cope with this! But overall, now that things have settled down I am loving it :)

There's not really that much to say about this apart from.....arghhhhhh! I am sitting here at my desk wondering when possibly the most life-changing, painful and amazing moment of my life will happen. It is the weirdest feeling. Everything feels normal...apart from the fact that I'm not working, until it suddenly dawns on me that I am in fact waiting for a human to exit my body. Just plain weird.
It's Friday again and therefore time for another funny video. Now I have to admit I have a strange Ellen DeGeneres addiction which means me getting sucked into the vortex of YouTube videos. While on one of my journeys I discovered this video. And I love it. There is surely not many things funnier than watching people get scared. Unless your scaring the person yourself...maybe something to consider over the weekend! I have just finished reading The Girl You Left Behind by Jojo Moyes and since I love talking about books and my other half does not I thought I would tell everybody else about it!
Working in a school has given me ample opportunity to read lots of children's picture books, and I have to say it can be the best part of my day. A good children's book with great pictures can give children such happiness and in that way they can be more important than other books. They can spark the love of reading. (Or at least I always hope so) But I began to ask myself is it easier to write a children's book?
So it's Friday. We're all tired and very relieved it's the weekend. So I have decided to make today an easy day (for me) and hopefully a funny one (for you). Every Friday I will post a video or a picture that has made me smile or laugh in the week! I hope you enjoy it! Surely this has to make everyone happy!

AuthorMy name is Sally. I like writing. I also like reading. In fact without books I would be kind of lost. Oh and I also think the internet's not too bad either. Archives
